THE LEUKEMIA & LYMPHOMA SOCIETY (LLS) IS AT THE FOREFRONT OF THE FIGHT TO CURE BLOOD CANCER.
We are the largest nonprofit dedicated to creating a world without blood cancers. Since 1949, we've invested more than $1.6 billion in groundbreaking research, pioneering many of today's most innovative approaches.
LLS is a global leader in the fight against blood cancer.

Your support matters! Leukemia is the #1 most diagnosed form of childhood cancer and the second leading cause of cancer deaths among children and adolescents. I know with the support of the Charleston community we can make a difference in the lives of blood cancer patients everywhere. This year the Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign is honoring Moorea pictured above. Moorea is a local patient in Charleston who is currently being treated for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
The Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign is a seven-week leadership development program that runs from February 1- March 21 to raise money and advocate for LLS. This year there are 11 teams competing and over a hundred and fifty team members participating.
Jack is so excited to be part of a group of high school students devoted to making a difference in our community.

FINDING CURES TAKES ALL OF US

"I accepted the challenge to run in the Student Visionary of the Year Campaign because I have personally been affected by cancer. My cousin, Lisa, passed away from Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the young age of 19, and I recently lost my uncle to cancer. I have seen the effects of cancer on family and friends, so I want to support others during such a hard time in their lives."
